My support letter...
Dear family and friends,
After getting back from my trip to Venezuela last summer, I knew it wasn’t the end of my story there. God put a huge love in my heart for the culture and people of Venezuela, and two weeks after I got back I was searching for the next chance I could find to go back. After a lot of closed doors and discouragement, God finally opened up the opportunity for me to return with e3 Partners Ministry to Puerto La Cruz and Barcelona this July 23 through July 31, 2009.
We will be working with 15 mother churches in and near the cities of Puerto La Cruz and Barcelona to plant several new churches in neighborhoods where there are no churches. I will be teamed up with other Christians as we share the love of Jesus Christ through translators to people who have never heard the gospel. It’s also awesome to get to use soccer as a ministry even when that isn’t the original goal. I found so many opportunities to play pick up games in neighborhoods and got a lot of opportunities to share the gospel through that.
The people in Puerto La Cruz and Barcelona are hungry to hear the gospel. Only about 5% of the people are born again. Most have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel.
The total cost of the trip is $2,400. Any amount that you feel led to give is a huge help towards sending me to do God’s work. $1200 is due by the 15th of May. I’ve been really into photography the past couple of years and I have experience with family, senior, engagement, and bridal portraits. I’ve always felt kind of weird about just straight up asking for money, so if you would like any kind of photography done just give me a call. My cell number is 972-983-3199. I can either make prints from a really good place I know or I can give you a CD with all the edited proofs. Then you can feel free to donate whatever you want to my trip.
If you do feel led to help financially please make your check payable to "E3 Partners" and return it to me in the enclosed envelope. If you want to receive a prayer calendar and updates, write your email address on the slip of paper enclosed and return to me. You can also make payments online at www.e3partners.org. All gifts are tax deductible. e3 Partners will then send you a tax receipt.
